繼製片工會、編劇工會、演員工會之後，導演工會獎也在今天揭曉了得獎名單，今年由趙婷以金獅獎作品《游牧人生》拿下最佳劇情片導演，這不僅是導演工會獎史上第二位女性得獎者，更是首位非白人女性得獎者；而最佳新導演則頒給了在 2019 年多倫多影展帶來首部劇情長片《靜寂的鼓手》的達瑞斯馬德爾，電影類得獎名單如下：
